Introduction to fundamental jewelry and metalsmithing design and techniques. Emphasis placed on the technique and design potential of metal fabrication.

 

 

ART 74abcd JEWELRY FABRICATION
(3 units)

Prerequisite: one semester of Art 73ab with a minimum grade of "C". This is a course that focuses on intermediate topics in jewelry fabrication, surface embellishment, forming, stone setting and tool making. The student will develop design skills and concepts through individual projects.
